Avoid the No-To-Wellness Surcharge
Understanding your health stats, like cholesterol and blood pressure, can help you identify health risks early and make positive changes. That’s why completing a health screening with a blood draw will continue to be the only requirement for employees and spouses to waive the $40 monthly No-to-Wellness Surcharge. The health screening must be completed by September 30, 2024, to waive the Surcharge for 2025.
Challenges
Throughout the year, you can join a variety of wellness challenges both online at wibenefitshelp.com or on the MyQHealth mobile app. Employees who complete at least four wellness challenges from October 2023 – September 2024 will earn a Worthington Amped cooler backpack. Employees and spouses who participate in challenges will also earn entries into grand prize drawings at the end of the year.
Prize opportunities
When you Amp up your wellness efforts beyond the health screening, you’ll have the opportunity to unlock more prizes. Employees who complete at least four challenges between October and September will receive a Worthington Amped cooler backpack.
And, for every challenge completed, both employees and spouses will receive an entry into Grand Prize Drawings for a chance to win a Peloton bike with a one-year Peloton subscription, Thanksgiving Dinner ($300 Williams Sonoma or grocery gift card), an Air Fryer Toaster Oven, Hiking Gear ($200 REI gift card), an Oura Ring with a one-year membership, AirPods Pro, Concert or Sporting Even Tickets for Two ($300 value), and a Weekend Getaway or First Class Flight for Two.
Amped new hire requirements
As a new employee, your requirements are based on the date your benefits coverage begins.
If your coverage begins:
- Before or on January 1, 2024: You are required to complete the Amped health screening with a blood draw to avoid the surcharge.
- January 2, 2024 or later: You are not required to complete the Amped health screening with a blood draw; the surcharge is automatically waived.
